April Partridge

Friends & Family,

Our mother, April Partridge, died peacefully in the early hours of the 2nd March. She died at home after a long illness battling the little known degenerative condition that is Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. PSP.

She was a devoted and loving wife of Vernon, amazing mother to William and Annabel, kind and gentle Grandmother to Lucilla, George and Cordelia and beloved sister to Angela, Sue, Virginia, Belinda, Alison and Joanna. She will be never forgotten.

Thank you to those that attended the service on Wednesday 21st March  at St George's Church, Hannover Square W1S IFX and joined us at afterwards at Brooks, St James’s Street. It was a lovely way to remember a very special person.

This site is a tribute to our beautiful & amazing Mother. We want to raise the profile of PSP and to highlight the debilitating nature of this horrible illness.

All monies raised will be to fund research into a cure. PSPA spend 82p in the £1 raised on research. The 18p balance is spent on their overheads and raising the awareness of PSP. The 82% number is a very high percentage - you get a very good bang for your buck!

PSPA spend around £500k a year on research so your generosity is enormously important to them.

Annabel, Father and I are meeting the team from PSP to work out where the moneies raised are best spent (i.e. which research projects) and Mummy’s three grandchildren will be planting a tree each in Brompton to commenerate her life.

Thank you

lots of love

William and Annabel
